and deserve your support. Most of them have links with our retreats and their environs.
Trade Aid is a small UK charity, operating in Mikindani, Southern Tanzania, and which runs The Old Boma Hotel. Its aim is to create sustainable employment by providing opportunities for work and encouraging enterprise in the local area, and through the teaching of English and vocational skills.
The Grevy’s Zebra Trust protects and conserves the endangered Grevy’s zebra and its fragile habitat in partnership with communities in Kenya and Ethiopia.
Ocean Sole encourages marine conservation and recycling – turning discarded flipflops into colourful models of elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos, dolphins, sharks, turtles and more.
The Trust for African Rock Art – TARA is an international, Nairobi-based organisation committed to recording the rich rock art heritage of the African continent, to making this information widely accessible and safeguarding those sites most threatened by humans and nature.
Watamu Marine Association is a unique initiative at the Kenyan coast bringing together members from the community, tourism and environment sectors. WMA promotes community development and empowerment and advocates for the protection and preservation of Watamu Marine Park and Reserves.
Naivasha Owl Centre is a rescue & care centre for owls and other birds of prey based in South Lake, Naivasha – part of the Kenya Birds of Prey Trust and approved by the Kenya Wildlife Service.
