“The Studio was so lovely. Such a fantastic retreat. You’ve done exceptionally well with the space – it’s gorgeous and light and airy and the kitchen was so well stocked. Thanks so much for the hospitality – we would definitely come back.”

“The perfect Nairobi escape for a romantic weekend for two. It is super quick and easy to get to. There are wonderful walks from the doorstep and a beautiful garden to enjoy the sunshine. The studio itself is lovely and has all the amenities you need. Thank you, EAR team, – it was heaven and we’ll definitely be back!”

“The Kawamwaki Studio is the dream getaway and an opportunity to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting. Great walking routes all around and a cosy fire to settle into in the evenings – we loved it!”

Cameron, Nairobi

“Only 40 minutes’ drive from Nairobi, Kawamwaki feels light years away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you’re not wandering around outside taking in the panoramic views and fresh Tigoni air, you’ll be spending your time in the beautiful big main studio room which somehow manages to be both cosy and airy at the same time. And while I think it’s impossible to fall out with your partner in such a romantic spot, I can confirm that the sofa in front of the fire is long enough to comfortably accommodate even the tallest human being! I loved the house and will be returning soon to explore the 40 acres of grounds it sits in.”
